Months of planning result in North Campus garden

The University at Buffalo’s Campus Dining and Shops, along with University Life and Services, have begun a campus garden.

Months of hard work and planning culminated late last week, as volunteers began sheet mulching a 400-square-foot plot of land between the North Campus Bookstore and Greiner Hall that will eventually grow into UB’s own campus garden.

The goal is to transform the 20-foot-by-20-foot grassy plot into a permaculture garden, which will eventually feature a wide variety of annual and perennial crops and herbs.
