Who's endorsing whom for Niagara Falls City Council?

Updated 3:43 p.m.

In my story today, I outline some of the top donors to each of the six candidates running for Niagara Falls City Council.

I've also compiled a list of each candidate's endorsements. In parentheses next to the candidates' names are the lines each has on the ballot.

Samuel F. Fruscione (C, I) - Niagara County Conservative Party, Niagara County Independence Party, Laborers Local 91 and Niagara Orleans Labor Council AFL-CIO.

Kristen M. Grandinetti (D, WF) - Niagara County Working Families Party, Niagara County Building Trades, Niagara Falls Firefighters, Women's TAP Fund, Stonewall Democrats, Iron Workers Local 9, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Rep. Brian HIggins.

Vincent M. Sandonato (R, C, I, WF, Green) - Niagara Falls Republicans, Niagara County Republicans, Niagara County Conservative Party and Niagara County Independence Party

Andrew P. Touma (D, WF) - Working Families Party, Niagara County Building Trades, Niagara Falls Firefighters, United Auto Workers Region 9, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Rep. Brian Higgins

Russell F. Vesci (R, C, I) - Niagara Falls Republicans, Niagara County Republicans, Niagara County Conservative Party, Niagara County Independence Party, Niagara/Orleans Labor Council AFL-CIO, United Steelworkers Local 9434, Laborers Local 91 and Carl P. Paladino.

Charles A. Walker (D) - Niagara County Building Trades, Niagara Falls Firefighters, Niagara Falls Fire Officers, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Rep. Brian Higgins.

The Niagara Falls Democratic Committee did not endorse any candidates prior to the four-way Democratic primary in September. Touma, Grandinetti and Walker were the top three vote getters, with Fruscione coming in fourth.

The general election is Tuesday. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
