Missing girl from Washington state spotted in Falls

NIAGARA FALLS – A 15-year-old girl who has been reported as an endangered runaway from the state of Washington was reportedly spotted near the Goat Island area on Friday, Niagara County Sheriff James R. Voutour said.

Amber Sholin is reported to be 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weigh about 160 pounds with red hair. She may be in the company of Todd C. Smith, described as a 17-year-old white male about 6 feet, 2 inches tall with brown or black hair.

Anyone with information about the girl is asked to contact the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office at 438-3393 anytime day or night. During normal business hours, Investigator Leonard Guagliano can be reached at 438-3457.
