McGuire Development Co. promoted Judy Robertson to property accounting analyst. Robertson has served as a general accountant for the company since 2011 and is a graduate of Alfred University. McGuire Development also named Kim Gleason an accounting clerk. Gleason most recently was an accounting clerk at Quality Equipment Distributors.


The Park School of Buffalo appointed Nancy M. Rey executive assistant to the director of enrollment management. Rey has served on the board of trustees since 2010. A graduate of Cornell University, Rey was a mechanical engineer with Delphi Corp. United Technologies Corp., O’Connor Mechanical Corp. and PTSWNY, and with her own company, eNano Media, where she designed customized websites and other digital media for small businesses. She has served as the temporary executive assistant since May.


The Western New York Association of Health Underwriters installed Michael King as president. King is principal of Century Benefits Group. UB OrthoCare, established specifically for the treatment of muscle, bone, joint and concussion injuries, offers same-day access to urgent orthopedic care, provided by physicians and physician’s assistants who specialize in treating orthopedic injuries. UB OrthoCare services are available at nine UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine locations throughout Western New York, with after-hours appointments available at two locations in Amherst and Niagara Falls.


People Inc.’s Elmwood Health Center is a recent recipient of the 2013 Allscripts Outcomes Excellence Award: Connectivity. Allscripts recognizes hospital and physician group practices that have adopted Allscripts’ methods. In 2010, the Elmwood Health Center implemented Allscripts as its Electronic Health Records, and in one year, it reached Patient-Centered Medical Home Level 3 Status.
