Holiday Valley’s president and general manager, Dennis Eshbaugh, was elected to the Ski Areas of New York Hall of Fame recently at the annual trade show banquet held at Holiday Valley Resort. The Hall of Fame honors those who make significant contributions by giving time, efforts and skills to the betterment of Ski Areas of New York in support of skiing and snowboarding in the state.
Don Tomasulo, sales manager at Entercom Buffalo, was awarded the “Radio Wayne Award” for Sales Manager of the Year by Radio Ink magazine at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Orlando, Fla. Tomasulo also won the award in 2007.
Ivoclar Vivadent vice president, general manager Canada, Sarah Anders, was named one of Dental Products Report’s annual “Top 25 Women in Dentistry” in the industry category. Winners were selected based on number and quality of nominations, as well as demonstrated contributions to the dental community.
Buffalo-based Solar Liberty designed, engineered and installed a carport canopy and electric vehicle charging station at Farmingdale State College on Long Island. The facility, the first of its kind in the SUNY system, was a collaborative effort between Solar Liberty, Farmingdale State College, Long Island Power Authority and Stony Brook University, and is a major component of the $24 million Long Island Smart Energy Corridor, with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Rosina Food Products was selected as the “Frozen Food Supplier of the Year” by Reinhart Food Service, a national food service distributor at the Reinhart Traditions Sales & Merchandising Conference held in Lake Geneva, Wis. Rosina is a Buffalo-based manufacturer of frozen protein, pasta and entrées.
The Joint Corp., an Arizona-based chiropractic clinic franchisor, recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest location at 1725 Sheridan Drive in the Town of Tonawanda. The clinic is owned by Jeremy J. Casagrande of Aligned Chiropractic and is managed by Joint Corp. franchisee Jesse Curry. The licensed chiropractor servicing patients at the Ken-Ton clinic is Richard M. Soukup.
