BAJAK, Walter A.

BAJAK - Walter A. July 21, 2013, age 79, of Hollywood, FL; son of the late Frank and Sophia; dear friend and companion of Violet Meyerson; father of Simon and Christopher, both of United Kingdom; brother of Irene Palka, Helen Pasciak of Vestal, NY and Henry and the late Sigmund F. and Joseph A. A memorial Mass was held August 3, 2013 at the Church of the Nativity, Hollywood, FL. Mr. Bajak was a graduate of Canisius
High School and College, NYU Law School, Case Western Reserve of Cleveland, OH, where he studied graduate studies of Taxation and International Law and attended the City University of London, UK. He also practiced law in Buffalo and later at the Rio Tinto Zinc Corp. in England, as an International Tax Attorney. He served in the U.S. Army. Before moving to Florida, Walter, for almost 20 years, practiced international tax law based in London and regularly traveled and dealt with international tax issues and problems in the U.S., Latin America, Canada, Western Europe, Middle East and Far East. He has conducted seminars on this subject for over eight years for various European professional organizations including the MBA Program of the University of London School of Business. He is the author of "Commercial and Tax Aspects of International Contracting" in tax planning international published by BNA International, Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Florida and New York Bars, practicing since 1963.
