A hearing on Beth Lynne Hoskins’ latest motion alleging prosecutorial misconduct in her nonjury criminal trial on 74 counts of animal cruelty is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. Monday before Aurora Town Court Justice Douglas W. Marky. Hoskins hired a private investigator, whom she said found earlier in the week that the romantic relationship between one of the prosecutors, Matthew A. Albert, and SPCA employee Alex Cooke, is stil ongoing even though the court had been told this month that it had ended in March. Hoskins is seeking to have the case thrown out and charges dismissed.

Also, the court has set 4:15 p.m. July 8 as the time that he will announce a verdict in the trial that first began in May 2012 and stems from an SPCA raid of her Morgan horse farm on Emery Road on March 18, 2010, in which neglect was alleged in her care of her horses.
