Moog gets F-15 contract

Moog Inc. has won a contract from Boeing Co. to design and make the weapons bay actuation system for a new version of the F-15 fighter jet that is sold to international customers, the Elma motion control equipment maker said.

Moog did not disclose the value of the contract, but the company said the system will be used to operate several door surfaces on the plane and serve other functions on the Silent Eagle version of the F-15. Moog has been a supplier on the F-15 program from its inception.
