Falls man charged with dislocating wife’s arm

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded not guilty Monday in Niagara County Court to allegations that he twisted his wife’s arm, dislocating it and causing possible permanent nerve damage in her shoulder, Assistant District Attorney Lisa M. Baehre said.

Michael A. Murphy Jr., 30, of 17th Street, is charged with second- and third-degree assault in connection with the April 28 incident in the Falls. He and the woman were married in December, Assistant Public Defender Michael E. Benedict said.
