East Side vacant house torched twice

Arson is suspected in two blazes within two days at a vacant East Side home, Buffalo fire officials said.

A fire broke out at the house in the 800 block of East Delavan Avenue around 4 p.m. Saturday, police said, causing about $5,000 damage.

Police believe the house was set ablaze again around 10 a,m. this morning, causing an additional $1,000 damage to the structure.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but is considered suspicious, officials said.
