BARGAIN TIME – People Inc. FEASTS AND FESTS – St. Anthony Parish in Lackawanna will sponsor its annual Feast of St. Anthony from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Lake Erie Italian Club, 3200 South Park Ave., Lackawanna. In addition to a chicken barbecue, there will be games, prizes, theme baskets, raffles and music by Bobby Militello. For tickets, call the church rectory at 823-0782.

St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 73 Adam St., City of Tonawanda, will hold a family fun fest from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Adam Street school parking lot. MAKE YOUR BIDS – The United Methodist Women of University and Cleveland Hill United Methodist churches will host a silent auction and salad bar luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday in University Methodist Church, 410 Minnesota Ave. at Bailey Avenue. Lunch begins at noon. Donation is $7.

St. Clare’s Parish, 193 Elk St. near Smith Street, will have a Theme Basket Bash from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. You need not be present to win. Coffee and baked goods are available after Masses at 4 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.


HUNGRY? – Church of the Holy Communion, Route 5 and Old Lake Shore Road, Lake View, will hold a barbecue chicken and ribs dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday. Dinners are $12 adults, $5 children 11 and under. Hot dogs will be $2. Baked goods and homemade items will be for sale.

Iraq-Afghanistan Veterans of Foreign Wars will host their first Summer Pig Roast from noon to 2 a.m. Saturday at Harvey D. Morin Post 2940, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 965 Center Road, West Seneca.
