Northern Dreams Construction, Buffalo, was awarded a $1,989,676 federal contract for the maintenance and repair of steam risers from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Western New York Health Care System, Batavia.


Moog Inc., East Aurora, was awarded a $484,329 federal contract for the repair of slip ring assemblies from the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Philadelphia.


Carleton Technologies, Orchard Park, was awarded a $130,080 federal contract for parachutes from the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich.


Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has been awarded a grant of up to $100,000 over two years through the Doctors Across New York Physician Practice Support Program. The program, funded through the state Department of Health, was enacted in 2008 to help train and place physicians in medically underserved areas, particularly rural and inner-city communities. Niagara Falls Memorial’s award will provide funding to support Dr. Amarpreet Grewal Bath, who joined Memorial’s medical staff in 2012 and practices full time at the Niagara Falls Memorial Primary Care Center.
