Parts of Buffalo Avenue face cut in water service

NIAGARA FALLS - City residents who live near Buffalo Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard will see their water service shut off between about 7 and 11 a.m. Thursday.

The Niagara Falls Water Board said it will be installing new water main valves as part of the Buffalo Avenue reconstruction project.

Areas that may be impacted include east of Hyde Park Boulevard, north of Buffalo Avenue, south of College Avenue and west of 10th Street.

Full restoration of service is projected for 11 a.m.
