Brighton Park Women’s Golf Club will celebrate its 50th Spring Luncheon at Crazy Jakes on Saturday. Mae Coates will be honored for 50 years of service. Officers for the coming season are: President, Kerry Hunter; Vice-President, Sharon Hammersmith; Secretary, Carol Noack; and Treasurer, Mae Coates.


BASKETBALL: The Niagara Police Athletic League will host the annual Mark Chief Williams Memorial Basketball Tournament on May 4-5. The divisions are boys and girls grades 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Entry fee is $175. For information or to register, call 286-7038.

LACROSSE: Hamburg girls lacrosse is hosting youth clinics from noon to 2 p.m. starting Saturday, and also April 27 and May 11 at the Howe Field Turf. Clinics are for girls in grades 1-6, beginners through advanced. Cost is $20 for one session or $50 for all three. Contact Tom Ryan, 3649 Bonnie Lane, Hamburg, N.Y. 14075 with checks payable to Hamburg Girls Lacrosse to preregister. Walk-ups will be accepted on clinic days. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and sticks and goggles will be provided to players without them. Players are asked to bring their own mouth guard, water bottle and appropriate footwear. … Nichols School will host the WNY US Lacrosse boys training clinic with Buffalo Bandits John Tavares and Mark Steenhuis for ages 10-18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Register at Cost is $60. Bring full equipment, mouth guard, sneakers and cleats (workouts will be on turf and in the rink). For information, contact Beth at 310-8211.

SOFTBALL: Mens and coed teams are needed for the Delaware League in the Town of Tonawanda. Call Jeff, 875-2020. … Witter’s Sports Bar is accepting applications for a Sunday afternoon coed league. Games will be played in North Tonawanda starting in May. Contact Pete at 308-1379.
