City of Tonawanda Mayor Ronald J. Pilozzi on Wednesday announced his candidacy for another term at the helm of the city.
“My administration has accomplished much in the past eight years to enhance the quality of life for city residents, but many of our initiatives are still ongoing or just beginning,” Pilozzi said in a statement.
“I am excited by the prospect of what our team can still accomplish in the next four years,” Pilozzi added.
Among his accomplishments, Pilozzi noted that his administration has competed for and won more than $2 million in grants to beautify and enhance city parks and has been instrumental in the transformation of the former Spaulding Fibre site. Also, he said, the city’s property tax levy has remained stable during his tenure.
