Democratic Lawyers Council taps Housh as vice president

A local attorney has been elected to a statewide post with the New York Democratic Lawyers Council.

Frank Housh, a defense lawyer, will serve as a vice president of the Council and head of its Western New York chapter.

Housh said the Council, which advocates in Albany and Washington for legislation that makes voting easier and more secure, is fighting several campaigns to disenfranchise voters most likely to support Democrats.
