Premium Mortgage named W. Shawn Manley a loan officer in its Williamsville office. Manley has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate business.


Bergmann Associates, engineering and architectural design firm, named Lixian Dai a GIS developer in its Buffalo office. Most recently, Lixian worked for the Town of Amherst as a GIS programmer.


Peter M. Terlecky III of Mass Mutual Buffalo qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table for the 15th year in a row, with Court of the Table and Top of the Table qualifications. In addition, he was voted by his colleagues to receive Mass Mutual Buffalo’s William Morrison Total Person Award given to a career agent who demonstrates compassion, pride and good will within the organization, the community and to their clients.

Company Connections

The Buffalo Italian American Leadership Council recently honored the Billittier family, Louis J. Billittier Jr., Mary Beth Billittier and their mother, Ann, with the Anthony M. Castiglia Achievement Award. The Billittier family owns Chef’s Restaurant in downtown Buffalo and were recognized for their philanthropic work in helping many organizations over the years, including Variety Club; Kid’s Escaping Drugs; Mikey’s Way; Roswell Park Cancer Institute; Bornhava; and Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center. The Anthony M. Castiglia Achievement Award is given in honor and memory of the man who was past president of the Italian American Federation.


FB Displays & Designs collaborated with Rembrandt Charms, designer and manufacturer of the world’s largest charm collection, to construct a 20-foot display for use at various trade shows throughout the country.

The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation awarded a three-year grant totaling $250,746 to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center to establish Project Runway, a community-based program to reduce drug and alcohol use and drug abuse by young women.
