FOOTBALL: The NFL Play 60 program presents the Buffalo NFL Youth Flag Football League beginning Saturdays, May 11-July 13, at LaSalle Park, Buffalo. Boys and girls ages 5-17 are welcome. HOCKEY: The newly formed West Seneca Wings Women’s Senior ‘B’ hockey team will hold tryouts at 10 p.m. Tuesday and at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the West Seneca Town Rink. SOFTBALL: The North Buffalo Wildcats will hold supplemental tryouts for their 12U girls fast pitch travel softball team this Sunday and April 14 at 10 a.m. at Shoshone Park off Hertel Avenue near Main Street. Possible open positions include a No. 1 or No. 2 catcher, a first baseman, pitchers, and infielders. The Wildcats play in the MGSL Metro League and will participate in four summer tournaments. SOCCER: The Kenan Center Soccer League is accepting registrations in all youth soccer divisions for ages 4-18. Play begins in late June. Cost is $38 for members and $50 for non-members. Registration forms are available online at or by calling 433-2619. Registration deadline is May 17.
