WNY Asset Management appointed Christine Kennedy membership administrator for the CPA Financial Network. She served as project coordinator for the Office of Research Administration in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. She attended Bryant & Stratton College.


The law firm of Harter Secrest & Emery appointed Nitasha A. Kadam an associate attorney in the Buffalo office. Kadam received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her bachelor’s degree from Boston College. The firm also appointed Iskra Miralem, Mark F. Schuber and Laura M. Smith associate attorneys in its Rochester office.


Travers Collins appointed Barbara Riso a senior art director. Riso was most recently an art director with Quiller & Blake. She graduated from the University of Michigan. The firm also named David Cloyd front-end Web developer and designer. Previously, Cloyd served as webmaster for AAA Western & Central New York. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, the firm named Lara Mishler office administrator. Mishler was most recently a legal resource assistant with Hodgson Russ. She is a Portland State University graduate.


The University at Buffalo Alumni Association selected Thomas A. Palmer to receive a 2013 Volunteer Recognition Award. The award will be presented during the annual Alumni Association Awards ceremony April 12. Palmer is the former managing partner of Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, a Buffalo corporate law firm. He is a Canisius College graduate and earned an MBA and J.D. from the University at Buffalo.


M&T Bank promoted Bradley J. Dossinger to administrative vice president in the bank’s retail banking division, Dawn M. Kopacz to administrative vice president in its technology division and Anthony Lagambina to administrative vice president in the bank’s technology division.

Hunt Real Estate ERA was recently presented the Platinum Award and the Cartus Five Star multiple awards at the 2013 Cartus Broker Network International Conference. Also, Hunt was honored with the 2013 Eagle Award from the USAA MoversAdvantage program for outstanding performance provided to USAA members in their Buffalo region.


InnerSpace Office Interiors was recently opened by Gina Bonitatibus. The company and showroom are located at 3901 Genesee St., Suite 600, across from Buffalo Niagara International Airport. J. Fitzgerald Group, a marketing communications company in Lockport, created the InnerSpace brand identity package and will also create the company’s Web presence.


Five Star Urgent Care, celebrating its one-year anniversary in the Jamestown community, officially joined Univera Healthcare’s network of health care providers for commercial and MedicareAdvantage members.


Carleton Technologies, Orchard Park, was awarded a $61,432 federal contract for manifold valve assemblies from the Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio.
