Former BOCES names MacDonald superintendent

LE ROY – Kevin MacDonald, superintendent of the Royalton-Hartland Central School District, has been chosen from among three finalists as the new superintendent of the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership.

On July 1, he will succeed Michael A. Glover, who held the post for the past ten years.

MacDonald has headed Royalton-Hartland for four years. Previously, he served for five years with the Orleans Niagara Board of Cooperative Educational Services in Middleport.

The partnership, a former BOCES, serves 22 school districts in Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston and Steuben counties.

Its headquarters is in Le Roy, and it operates campus centers in Batavia and Mount Morris.
