Dorothy G. Ingalls, founded investment club

Dorothy G. “Dotty” Ingalls died March 21 among her family at home. She had moved to Buffalo in 2000 from Connecticut. She was 91.

Before retiring, she was assistant to the dean of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Conn.

She was predeceased by her husband, D. Robert, a former head football coach at UConn.

Born Dorothy G. Grose in Dallas, she graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Mrs. Ingalls was founder of the Storrs Investment Club, a master bridge player and a member of Mensa.

She is survived by her sons, James F. and Donald R.
