Falls man arraigned in stolen car case

LOCKPORT – Chadd G. White, 30, of Ashland Avenue, Niagara Falls, pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court Wednesday to a five-count indictment accusing him of taking part in the theft of a car March 11 in front of Foley’s Bar on Buffalo Avenue in the Falls.

White is charged with third- and fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree auto stripping and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. White, a parole violator who has four previous felony convictions, was held on $50,000 bail.

On Nov. 9, David Mount Pleasant, 29, of Mount Hope Road on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation, admitted to third-degree auto stripping for his role in the theft.
