1) Location: 2001 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga
Price: $10.5 million
Buyer: Benderson Development Co.

Planned Use: Investment, redevelopment and releasing. Property is 24-acre, 209,459-square-foot shopping plaza, across from Walden Galleria and adjacent to Thruway. Anchored by Burlington Coat Factory, it also hosts Smokey Bones and Olive Garden restaurants and Jared Jewelers. Former home of Fuddruckers restaurant and Ultimate Electronics store. Built in 1990s as warehouse for Sorrento Cheese. Later home to Wegmans and Chase Pitkin, but sold to new owners and foreclosed on by Capmark. Benderson plans to find new tenants to fill the vacant space.
2) Location: 960 Washington St., Buffalo
Price: $1.257 million
Buyer: University at Buffalo, through UB Foundation Services Inc.

Planned Use: First of three downtown parcels in the Main and High streets area being assembled by UB for construction of its new $375 million UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Project is part of the UB 2020 plan, and will be designed by architectural firm HOK, with ground breaking slated for September 2013. Joseph, a developer who owns Clover Management, and Brinkworth, a businessman, had owned the property since 2005.
3) Location: 1016 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda
Buyer: David J. Stinner of Kenmore, through U.S. Property Development Group LLC
Seller: George and Virginia A. Campos
Planned Use: Relocating Stinner's information technology business into what he calls "The Innovation Hub," designed to attract and retain young local Buffalo talent for high-tech work. Stinner is the founder, owner, president, CEO, CFO and chief entrepreneur of U.S. itek Group, an IT service provider that specializes in selecting, implementing and supporting Microsoft server solutions and related business and medical technology for small and medium-sized businesses. Founded in 1994, and currently at 1720 Military Road. The new facility is slated to open in March.
4) Location: 200 Peppertree Drive, Amherst
Buyer: Pamela Bruns, through BFF Properties LLC
Seller: Kathleen M. Patterson
Planned Use: Investment. Property is 6,832-square-foot, brown brick three-unit apartment building, built in 1985 on 0.5 acres near Niagara Falls Boulevard. Bruns, who owns a separate corporate training and consulting firm, Bruns Consulting in Niagara Falls, also owns another apartment building in Amherst and several homes. BFF, which stands for "Bus Fund Funded," is what she calls her emergency backup fund if she ever got hit by a bus.
5) Location: 749 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda

Planned Use: Investment and continued operation of 7-Eleven convenience store, formerly a Wilson Farms location. Evercore is the trustee for The 7-Eleven Inc. Employees Trust.

Planned Use: Continued operation of ice cream franchise. Property is a freestanding Dairy Queen restaurant.
7) Location: 9297 Erie Road, Evans

Planned Use: Uncertain. Property has been home to Tubby's Take Out, offering burgers, desserts and ice cream, but the Saxons' Sado Gas Sales owns and operates a pair of Stop & Gas retail gas stations in Hamburg.

Planned Use: Investment. Property is a 5,669-square-foot, two-story, six-unit apartment home, built in 1890 on 6,825 square feet of land.

Planned Use: Sale occurred in mid-September. Two apartments on the upper floor and commercial office space for Sordetto's collections agency on the first floor. Former home of Smith's Metro Ken-Ton Realty for 22 years, since 1990. Smith retired earlier this year and sold the business and building.
10) Location: 2061 & 2071 Clinton St., West Seneca

Planned Use: Continued operation of bowling facility. Property is home of The Edge Bowling Center, a 12-lane bowling alley which Seger owned and has now sold to Kroll.

Planned Use: 68 low-income apartments for people with incomes under $30,000. Property is the former Riverside Academy School 60 of the Buffalo Public Schools.
13) Location: 61 Johnson Park, Buffalo
Buyer: Christopher W. Wan and Dyno Group Inc. of Buffalo
Seller: Robert F. and Esther E. Biniszkiewicz
Planned Use: Build a neighborhood parking lot. Dyno Group is a construction company started by Wan in 2009 that has remodeled two homes and another building on Tracy Street, around the corner from Johnson Park.
14) Location: Unidentified property on east side of North America Drive, West Seneca
Buyer: Sustainable BioPower LLC of Cleveland
Seller: Charles W. Pecorella and Anthony Nanula, through West Seneca Joint Venture of Brockport, N.Y.
Planned Use: Sustainable BioPower plans to spend $5 million to build a plant that converts organic waste into renewable fuel. Will take over existing 2,000-square-foot building in North American Center Industrial Park, with incentives from the Erie County Industrial Development Agency. Expects to employ seven and take in about 50,000 tons of waste annually to generate 1 megawatt of electricity.
