Teen in fair condition after being struck by gunfire

An East Side teenager was in fair condition at Erie County Medical Center tonight after being shot twice late Saturday.
Quran McNish, 16, told Buffalo police that a Central Park neighborhood resident fired three or four shots at him about 10 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Erb Street and Lang Avenue, between Genesee Street and East Delavan Avenue, according to the police report.
McNish was struck twice on the right side of his upper hip, according to the report.
Police are seeking the suspect on felony assault charges.
