BELLANTI, Josephine A. (Vitrano)

BELLANTI BELLANTI - Josephine A. (nee Vitrano) Former Kenmore, NY resident, age 92, passed into eternal life September 27, 2012 at her home in Clifton Park, NY. Daughter of the late Antonino and Anna (nee Tarantino) Vitrano, Josephine was born on January 3, 1920 in Buffalo. Josephine was predeceased by her beloved husband, John P. Bellanti, and her seven brothers and sisters. John and Josephine married on September 25, 1946. Josephine was a former parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Kenmore. After moving to Clifton Park in 1999, she became a member of Corpus Christ Parish in Round Lake, NY. Josephine was a very avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. She looked forward to watching their games every chance she could. She loved being around her family, who meant the world to her. Her infectious spirit had an effect on all around her. To everyone who came in contact with her, she was their Nana. Josephine is survived by three children, John (Maryann) Bellanti of Brighton, MI, Janet (David) Mietlicki of Clifton Park, NY and Michael (Julie) Bellanti of Milford, MI, 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., where prayers will be offered on Monday at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30 AM. Friends invited. Flowers are gratefully declined. Josephine had a great love for St. Jude.
