Lorin L. Luderman, a retired bank vice president, died unexpectedly at his home in Alden on Monday. He was 84.
Born in Lancaster, he graduated from Lancaster High School.
He worked at American Machine and Foundry for 11 years, before being hired as a teller at Alden State Bank in 1957. Mr. Luderman rose through the ranks to the position of bank vice president, retiring in 1990.
He was a charter member of the Town Line Volunteer Fire Department's Benevolent Association, and he served on the board of directors for Alden State Bank.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Dolores Schmitke; three sons, Mark, Paul and David; a daughter, Beth Brinson; and a sister, Naomi Aldinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Town Line Lutheran Church, 1159 Town Line Road, Alden.
