Copper wire worth $10,000 stripped from abandoned warehouse

NIAGARA FALLS - Someone broke into the former Moore Business Forms warehouse in the 1000 block of Buffalo Avenue and stripped all of the copper wiring, city police reported.
An employee of the company told police Tuesday that sometime in the past month someone forced open a west side entrance door and stole all the copper wiring in the warehouse. The incident was discovered when National Grid entered the building.
Total loss was estimated to be about $10,000, according to police.
