 Mary Kearns - 55 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kearns of Buffalo celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a party in their home. Mr. Kearns and Mary Malone were married Sept. 7, 1957, in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Lackawanna. He is a retired firefighter for the City of Buffalo Fire Department; she is a retired typist for the Erie County Department of Health. They have six children and a granddaughter.

Robert Watroba - 50 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Watroba of Elma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner for family and friends at Kiebzak's Beginnings, Sloan. Mr. Watroba and Janine T. Siedlikowski were married Sept. 8, 1962, in Precious Blood Catholic Church, Buffalo. He is a retired meatcutter for Del-Mar Provision; she retired from the accounting department of Whiting Door Manufacturing Corp., Akron. They have two sons and two granddaughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brady of Depew celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at The Columns, Elma. Mr. Brady and Patricia "Pat" Tomala were married Sept. 1, 1962, in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Depew. He is a retired toolmaker for Trico Products; she is a retired cost accountant for General Dynamics. They have a daughter and four grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Bieler of Boston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of marriage vows officiated by the Rev. Dr. Bonnie Bates in Faith United Church of Christ, followed by a gathering for family and friends at the Old Orchard Inn, East Aurora. Mr. Bieler and Carole M. Bott were married Sept. 8, 1962, in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, West Seneca. He is retired from Polymer Conversions, Orchard Park; she is retired from Enidine Inc., Orchard Park. They have six children and eight grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. John Ryndak Sr. of Buffalo and Kissimmee, Fla., celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Polish Villa, Cheektowaga. Mr. Ryndak and Delores Przewozny were married Sept. 7, 1957, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, Buffalo. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 30 years of service; she formerly worked in the office of Radio Equipment Corp., Buffalo. They have three children and five grandchildren.

Allen Eschborn - 60 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Eschborn of Amherst celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering in their daughter's home. Mr. Eschborn and Carol Davoli were married Sept. 6, 1952, in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Buffalo. He is a retired dispatcher for Midland Asphalt Corp.; she is a retired teledata operator for ADP, Buffalo. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Ronald Black of Orchard Park celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering hosted by their children for family and friends in their home. Mr. Black and Mercita Binner were married Aug. 4, 1962, in Central Presbyterian Church, Buffalo. He is a retired middle and high school principal for Akron Central Schools; she is a retired program director for Gleason's Gymnastics. They have four children and 10 grandchildren.

Anthony Buttino - 50 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony P. Buttino of West Seneca celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of marriage vows by the Rev. Jim A. Walter in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook, followed by a reception at Cove Restaurant, West Seneca. Mr. Buttino and Suzanne M. Norelli were married Sept. 1, 1962, in St. Theresa Catholic Church, South Buffalo. He is retired vice president of WNED-TV with 40 years of service; she is retired pastoral associate for St. Catherine of Siena, West Seneca. Both are volunteers in the adult literacy field.

Jewel Michel - 50 YEARS

Mr. and Mrs. William P. Michel of West Seneca celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant, Blasdell. Mr. Michel and Jewel Zefers were married July 7, 1962, in Springville Methodist Church. He is a retired machinist for Moog Inc. with 37 years of service; she is a retired substitute music teacher for West Seneca and Lancaster public schools. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. James B. Kane Jr. of Orchard Park celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Orchard Park, followed by a private reception at Orchard Park Country Club. Mr. Kane and Marie O'Hearn were married Sept. 6, 1952, in St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Buffalo. He is retired New York State Supreme Court justice/administrative justice; she is a retired registered nurse. They have 10 children and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Pilsbury of North Tonawanda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Pilsbury and Jean Gustek were married Sept. 1, 1962, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, North Tonawanda. He is retired from management at Cello Pak in Cheektowaga. They have two children and a granddaughter.
