Cheektowaga woman flagged at bar charged with menacing

FRENCH CREEK - A Cheektowaga woman accused of pulling a knife on a bar manager during a wedding reception late Saturday at Peek'n Peak was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Jilian M. Chludzinski, 29, was arraigned in French Creek Town Court and is in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $4,000 bail, authorities said.

Sheriff's deputies said that about 11 p.m., the manager of the Regency Pub refused to serve Chludzinski drinks because she appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect, deputies said, threatened to stab the bar manager and when denied service again, followed through on her threat, swinging the knife at the manager. Chludzinski, deputies said, was disarmed by a security officer until deputies arrived.
