Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, appointed Kevin Galvin and David Szabad vice presidents, information technology. Most recently, Galvin served as vice president of information technology for Sodexo, where he oversaw the company's project management teams. He earned both a bachelor's degree and MBA from Canisius College.

Szabad is responsible for overseeing the technology teams that support Fidelis Care's core business functions including claims processing, claims system configuration, and regulatory reporting. Szabad previously served as the director of application systems for HealthNow NY. He is a University at Buffalo graduate.

Dana Zuber of Plato's Closet of Amherst, of Amherst, and Dana Zuber of Plato's Closet of West Seneca, at 1022 Union Drive, received sales excellence awards at the company's recent annual conference held in St. Pete Beach, Fla.

Alliance Advisory Group, a Buffalo-based financial services firm, named Kris Quagliana a financial representative. Quagliana is a registered representative and financial adviser of Park Avenue Securities.

Anchor Marine on Grand Island recently completed a $700,000 construction project that includes a new and expanded parts and accessory store, as well as new executive and sales offices. The project will enhance the 28-acre marina in boat and dock sales, parts and accessories, service and storage and the business has hired additional staff.
