Jeffrey B. Goldberg, director of member operations, among other positions, at Independent Health Association for 17 years, died Saturday in his Williamsville home after a nine-month battle with cancer. He was 41.
A Buffalo native, Mr. Goldberg graduated from Williamsville North High School and later from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in business and finance, and psychology.
He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and played hockey in high school as well as college.
He was a member of the Buffalo Leadership Class of 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila; his parents, Norman and Marcia; a son, Braden; a sister, Rachel Corn; and a brother, Jason.
A funeral will take place at 10 a.m today in Audubon Funeral Home, 281 Dodge Road, Getzville.
