Personal Touch Food Service, a Buffalo-based provider of contract food service management, announced that its senior leadership team will remain in place following the unexpected death of CEO and owner James R. McHugh.

David A. Cervi, who joined the company in 1986, will continue as president, and Glenn A. Butler will continue as vice president of operations and business development.

Lifetime Health Medical Group welcomed physician assistant Carrie Farr McPherson to its Amherst staff. McPherson will see patients of all ages in the Amherst Health Center, 1185 Sweet Home Road. A New York State board-certified physician, she earned her degree in physician assistant studies from D'Youville College and a bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College.

Bartels Vision Care, operated by Dr. David P. Bartels in the Town of Tonawanda, has installed an ocular response analyzer manufactured by Reichert Inc. of Depew. The device enables eye doctors to measure the biomechanical tissue properties of the cornea. It is one of 250 such machines in use in the U.S.
