OLAF FUB SEZ: A favorite lyric from singer, songwriter and former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, born on this date in 1942, "In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."

Visions of Summer

Bright beautiful days laced with a sky of blue

As we awaken to a sprinkle of misty dew.

Visions of white sand and beaches fill our mind

As from winter's misery we finally unwind.

We thirst for an icy drink of lemonade,

While relaxing in the park in the welcome shade.

We hunger for cones filled with creamy ice cream

As in our mind's eye we continue to dream.

Young children in the water, trying to stay afloat,

Friends inviting you to go for a ride on their boat.

Cool nights to draw the curtain on a perfect day

As we anticipate the warm lazy times of joyous play.
