Mayor Byron W. Brown will host public open houses in nine neighborhoods throughout Buffalo between today and Saturday to present and get public input on the draft elements of the city's new zoning code.
The public meetings will provide citizens an opportunity to preview the draft code, learn how the code will benefit their neighborhood and discuss code details at various stations staffed by project team members.
The open houses will be held at the following locations:
*Today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Lafayette High School, 370 Lafayette Ave.
*Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at South Park High School, 150 Southside Parkway and Bennett High School, 51 Ontario St.
*Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Montessori School, 342 Clinton St. and Bennett High School, 2885 Main St.
*Thursday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at North Park Academy, 780 Parkside Ave.
*Friday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square.
*Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at East High School and 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Matt Urban Center, 1081 Broadway.
