Bishop Timon-St. Jude and St. Joe's will play for the Monsignor Martin Championship in boys lacrosse Tuesday after both teams advanced to the finals Saturday morning.
St. Joe's defeated Nichols, 9-8, while Timon blew out St. Francis, 20-6.
St. Joe's led, 9-7, 10 minutes into the fourth period when Nichols scored with four minutes remaining to pull within one. Marauders goalie Andrew Poturski, who finished with 10 saves, turned a shot away in the last minute to secure the win.
Timon was dominant in the other semifinal, which saw JD Recor score seven goals and hand out seven assists while Adam Dimillo and Connor Fields scored four goals each. Timon will come into Tuesday's matchup heavily favored after outscoring St. Joe's, 36-4, in the two previous meetings.

The Olean boys and Fredonia girls were the top Division I winners in the Chautauqua & Cattaraugus Track & Field Championships Saturday at Southwestern Central.
Olean (186.0) finished 74.5 points ahead of second-place Fredonia (111.5) while Falconer placed third (84.0). The Fredonia girls (111.0) barely edged out second-place Falconer (107.0), third-place Southwestern (95.0) and fourth-place Allegany/Limestone.
The Randolph boys (175.0) captured the Division II title ahead of Portville (104.0) and Cattaraugua/LV (103.0) while Division III winner Westfield finished ahead of Frewsburg (119.0 and Maple Grove (117.0).
The Randolph girls (181.0) placed first in Division II in front of Portville (128.0) and Salamanca (110.0) while Maple Grove (189.0) won Division III with Frewsburg (119.0) coming in second and Franklinville (79.0) in third.
Tyler Plaud won both the 100 (11.1) and 200 meters (22.2) for Olean.
Canisius' Declan Albert finished in sixth place in the men's lightweight varsity eight in the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championships Regatta in Camden, N.J.
