MetLife Financial Group of Upstate New York named Thomas Licata a financial services representative at its Williamsville office.

Superior Group, a Williamsville-headquartered staffing agency, promoted Jessica Holden to supervisor of client services. Formerly a client services representative and data analyst, Holden has been with the agency for three years. She holds a bachelor's degree from Alfred University.

PMI Buffalo, the local chapter of the Project Management Institute, recently recognized Melissa Wallace as its Volunteer of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2012. Wallace was honored for her contributions to the chapter through her work in organizing breakfast networking meetings and for her work with the Future Cities Program.

SofTrek Corp., headquartered in Amherst, has released its newest version of ClearView 2.0, its application for the PledgeMaker donor management system. The system helps nonprofit organizations manage and grow donor relationships; carry out, coordinate and track fundraising efforts; and manage staff.

McFarland Johnson recently received an Engineering Excellence award from the New York Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies for the Sustainable Master Plan for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The project received a Gold Award for Excellence in Engineering in the Category of Studies Research and Consulting. The project was managed out of the firm's Binghamton office. McFarland Johnson is an employee-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, with offices in Canandaigua; Sarasota Springs; Concord, N.H.; Boston, Mass.; Putnam, Conn.; and South Burlington, Vt.
