The Wellsville Creative Arts Center is accepting applications for two residency programs for ceramic artists through May 15. Applicants must have a BA or equivalent work experience and submit 10 digital images, two letters of reference and a letter of intent.

The Hull Family Home and Farmstead (5976 Genesee St., Lancaster) will host its annual History Camp for students entering grades 5 through 8 from July 23-27. Participants will learn about life in Western New York during the early 1800s and take part in activities including archaeological studies, chores, games and crafts.

The Buffalo Zoo is accepting registration for its Summer Nature Camp, open to children ages 5 to 12. The program features workshops on a variety of animal-related themes. *The Chautauqua Regional Youth Symphony is receiving an award from the United Arts Appeal of Chautauqua County for an honorarium for musician Kenneth Hultin. Hultin, an alumni of the symphony, has arranged a composition that will be performed by the Youth Symphony at the Spring Gala Concert Sunday in the Reg Lenna Civic Center in Jamestown.
