The Springville Country Club Women's Golf Association will hold its season-opening dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. For reservations, call Tim Pike at 592-4334, Ext. 112.

The club also is planning a golf clinic and hospitality mixer for May 10.


Eastern Erie Retired Teachers Association will hold its spring meeting next Tuesday in the Columns banquet center, 2221 Transit Road, Elma, starting with registration at 11:15 a.m. A business meeting, lunch and election of officers will follow.

Linda Smith, an adult nurse practitioner in the Office of Cancer Prevention at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, will present a program titled "Breast Cancer Overview" that will give the basic concepts of breast cancer. Breast cancer survivors attending the meeting will be honored.


Women's Club of Orchard Park will hold its installation luncheon at noon May 9 in LaGalleria Restaurant. Past President Beverly Leek will install the new officers: president, Mary Jane Boncaldo; first vice president, Gloria Pfohl; second vice president, Mary Paula Colby; recording secretary, Jean Klompp; corresponding secretary, Carol Thornton; and treasurer, Judy Horan.


Beechwood Service Guild will conclude the season with its annual spring tea at 2 p.m. June 6 at the residence. The tea will be hosted by Hamburg United Methodist Church. A free-will offering will be collected to support the Living Care Fund.
