The 13th Woody Keyser Memorial Open Modified Softball Tournament will be June 2-3 in Westfield. All proceeds from the tournament go to The Woody Keyser Memorial Fund. In addition, the tournament supports a scholarship at Westfield school. Each year, one graduating senior baseball or softball player receives this award. Ten-man open modified teams are invited to participate at a cost of $275. Top three teams receive prize money and T-shirts. GOLF: The 18th Ken-Ton Schools Athletic Hall of Fame golf tournament is slated for July 25 at Sheridan Golf Course. HALL OF FAME: The Kenmore East Hall of Fame Selection Committee is accepting nominations for the induction Class of 2012. Individuals may be nominated in three categories: Athlete, Coach/Administrator, and Honorary. To be eligible, athletes must be from the class of 2005 or earlier and coaches must be retired from the district for at least two years.
