CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT: Genesee Community College continues its series of events marking the 150th anniversary of the Civil War with an encampment from Friday evening through Sunday morning. There will be a Sunday interfaith service led by Rev. Gary Hakes, whose sermon will be authentic to the 1860s. The encampment will be held at the GCC Lima Campus Center, 7285 Gale Road (one mile north of Lima on 15A).

WINES OF DISTINCTION FUNDRAISER: New Directions Youth and Family Services will present the third annual Wines of Distinction fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Lockport Town and Country Club, 717 East Ave., Lockport. An evening of fine wines, acoustic melodies and gourmet hors d'oeuvres is promised. The event also will feature charity raffles with all proceeds to be used to fund recreational equipment and recreation activities. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $35 per person or $60 per couple and are available by calling 433-4487, Ext. 489.

EATING DISORDERS WALK: The National Eating Disorders Association will hold its inaugural Buffalo NEDA Walk at 10 a.m. Saturday, beginning at the Buffalo Center, 95 John Muir Drive, Amherst. GUN RAFFLE: The Delevan Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its second spring gun raffle at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Delevan Firefighters Training Center on Route 16 in Delevan. Doors open at 6 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the fire company.
