The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline has 100 trained volunteers who answer questions, help callers get correct information, and just listen. The program, staffed by breast cancer survivors, has a matching service where callers can connect with volunteers who have had specific conditions or surgeries, or take particular medications.
