Western New York Hosta Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St. at Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora. Chris Premielewski, landscape, irrigation and lighting professional, will present "Irrigating Your Garden."


Lewiston Garden Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Lewiston Public Library. Carol Ann Harlos will demonstrate tips on cooking with herbs. New members and guests are welcome. Judges Council of 8th District Federated Garden Clubs of New York State will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday in Brighton Community Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda. Parallel designs will be exhibited and discussed. Lana Bilger from Menne Nursery will present "Stop and Smell the Roses."


Pfeiffer Nature Center of Portville is hosting a Beneficial Bees workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 28 at its Lillibridge property, east of Olean.
