Ilio DiPaolo's Sports Night to toast the Buffalo Bills' offensive line is May 7 at the restaurant in Blasdell. The O-line was No. 1 in the NFL for fewest sacks given up. Tickets to the dinner are $30 and are limited. The event starts at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Police Athletic League of Buffalo. The Level 7 State Gymnastics Championships were held in Rochester on April 14 and 15 with two individuals from the Orchard Park Gymsters crowned state champions. Emily Bondanza won the vault and Ryleigh Whitcomb won the floor exercise. Bondanza also placed second in the all-around, third on the bars and the balance beam and fourth in floor exercise. Whitcomb was fourth in the all-around. Jadyn Hogan placed fifth on the bars.

BASEBALL: The Police Athletic League (PAL) is looking for teams in four divisions: 8-10, 13-under, 16-under and 19-under. Prices very for each league. Age cut-off is May 1. Games will be played during the day at Cazenovia and Delaware parks. Registration is first come, first serve. Call the office at 851-4615 or Orv Cott at 812-7251.

GOLF: Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will host its annual Niagara Cup Classic tournament June 5. Proceeds will go toward Memorial's minimally invasive robotic surgery program. Whether you plan to play as a sponsor, attend dinner as a guest or prefer to make a donation, email or call 278-7570. The North 18 Hyde Park golf course is now open. The fees are $10 for walkers and $20 with a cart.

BASKETBALL: Tryouts for the PAL/ACE showcase will be held Tuesday at Niagara Falls High School. Freshman and sophomore tryouts will begin at 6 p.m. while the juniors and seniors will begin at 7:15 p.m. Admission is $5. Call Sal Constantino at 228-7916. HOCKEY: The Buffalo Stars Juniors will operate a full season 16-under league for the 2012-13 year. The Stars will conduct tryouts for this team at Holiday Twin Rinks on Monday from 7:30-8:45 p.m. and April 28 at noon.
