ROAD TEST COURSE: The five-hour prelicensing course required before taking a road test for a state driver's license will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Room B411, Bretschger Tech Center, Erie Community College North Campus, 6205 Main St., Amherst. BLUEBIRDS WORKSHOP: Beaver Meadow Audubon Center will present a program designed to help beginners learn about bluebirds and their special needs from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the center, 1610 Welch Road, North Java. Participants will assemble a bluebird house and are asked to bring a hammer. Richard Wells, past president of the New York State Bluebird Society, will present. The cost is $10. CHILD ABUSE ID WORKSHOP: A state-mandated training session for professionals on identifying and reporting child abuse, maltreatment and neglect will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the LoGuidice Educational Center, D Building, 9520 Fredonia-Stockton Road, Fredonia. Participants should bring their license or certificate number with them. A state Education Department certificate of completion will be provided for each participant. The cost is $30.
