ZADVORNEY - Peter J. Age 76, of Union Springs, died Friday (February 24, 2012) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be announced later.

Peter was born May 18, 1935 in Johnson City, the son of Peter S. and Mary Yuricek Zadvorney. He was a 1953 graduate of North High School in Binghamton. After graduation he began employment with IBM in Endicott, until his retirement in 1990. While employed with IBM he earned a degree in Process engineering. He also taught waterfowl identification classes for the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Binghamton. He loved his boat and was an avid hunter, fisherman and conservationist. He was a decorative waterfowl carver and enjoyed painting. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and a also the masons. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean Zadvorney; son, Joel (Joanna) Zadvorney of Orchard Park; daughters, Jadine Zadvorney of Clarence and Jolene (Matthew) Morneault of Ambler, PA; grandchildren, Addison, Noah, Alexander, and Jackson; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two step brothers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the COE-GENUNG FUNERAL HOME in Waterloo.
