Feb. 26 to March 4 / Niagara County faith-related events

Following is a weekly listing of upcoming faith-related events held around Niagara County.

> Today

LENTEN CELEBRATION: St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 61 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda, will celebrate all 40 days of Lent. Choral Eveningsong will be held at 7 Sunday nights. Evening Prayer will held on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated on Tuesdays. Walking the Stations of the Cross will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, and there will be Silent Adoration at 7 p.m. on Saturdays. RECOVERY GROUP: 7:30 p.m., Wheatfield Community Church, 3571 Niagara Falls Blvd. Addiction Conquerors will offer a Life Recovery Group every week to those who are victims of any addiction. The Rev. Pat Lavery, co-founder of the group, will lead. For information, call 553-3794 or visit

DEVOTIONAL GROUP MEETING: St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1073 Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston. LENTEN FISH FRY: 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 616 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls. Dinners are $9 and include breaded or baked fish, or shrimp, with choice of potato and coleslaw. Desserts also available. For information, call 283-2774.

FISH FRY: 4 to 7 p.m., Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd. Choose from haddock, shrimp or chicken tenders, sampler platters, children's meals and more. For takeout or more information, call 625-8306.
