The Buffalo Niagara Builders Association installed Andrew Romanowski president for 2012. Romanowski is founder and president of Alliance Homes. Alliances Homes, founded in 1989, specializes in custom home construction.

The New York State Association of Realtors installed Margaret Hartman president-elect for a one-year term. Hartman, a realtor for 41 years, is the Lancaster office sales manager for RealtyUSA in the Buffalo region. She served as president of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors in 1994 and was named realtor of the Year in 2000.

Catholic Health appointed John Stavros senior vice president of marketing and development. Stavros, who joined the company in 2009, previously had responsibility for marketing, public relations, and development at various multi-hospital systems and academic medical centers in Southern California and the greater Philadelphia region.

Meals on Wheels for Western New York appointed Tara A. Ellis chief executive officer. Ellis currently is an independent consultant, working with such organizations as the University at Buffalo, the International Society for Neurovascular Disease and other local businesses and nonprofits. She has held positions at Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, M&T Bank, and the New York State Senate. She is a University at Buffalo graduate with a master's degree from Syracuse University.

KeyBank named Paul S. Bartolone vice president and senior relationship manager, business banking, for the Western New York District. He is based in Key's Fountain Plaza branch. Bartolone previously was vice president and client manager, business banking, for Bank of America. He earned both his master's of business administration degree and his bachelor's degree from Canisius College.

Rich Products named Ray Burke and Jack Kilgore co-leaders of the newly formed U.S./Canada Region. Burke, president of the foodservice and in-store bakery divisions, will continue to lead these businesses, while assuming oversight of the company's ingredients division. He joined the company in 1981 in its management development program. Kilgore, president of the consumer brands division, will oversee the Canada division while continuing to have primary accountability for the consumer brands and the company's global quality function. He began his career with Rich's in 1978 when he became a sales and marketing administrator. Burke and Kilgore also will join other key executives as members of the company's global leadership council.

The WNY Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors honored Dorothy Stahlnecker with 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award at the its 11th annual awards dinner in Buffalo. Stahlnecker is the vice president of Commercial Real Estate at MJ Peterson. She has been in the real estate industry for 30 years, joining MJ Peterson in 1979.

The law firm Webster Szanyi named Donall O'Carroll partner. O'Carroll is a University College Galway graduate, and earned his JD from Stetson University College of Law. O'Carroll is also admitted to practice in Florida, Ireland, England and Wales.

Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel named Scott P. Horton partner in the law firm's labor & employment and e-discovery and records management practice groups. A University of Virginia graduate, he holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

New Buffalo Shirt Factory, a textile screen printer based in Clarence, named James W. Mahoney director of sustainability/corporate social responsibility. Mahoney is a graduate of Bentley University and previously was with Swimco Inc.
