Niagara Frontier Orchid Society will hold its Winter Orchid Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Orchid displays, orchid-growing demonstrations and vendors. Lewiston Garden Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Lewiston Public Library. Mary Lou Chamberlain, master judge from District 8, will create floral designs using live and dried materials. New members and guests welcome. The club also is looking for vendors for the seventh annual GardenFest, June 23-24. For information call 297-5925.

Friends of Kenan Herb Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Kenan Center Taylor Theater meeting room, behind the Kenan House at 433 Locust St., Lockport. Members will discuss the "Rose: 2012 Herb of the Year." Open to the public and prospective members. For information, call 433-3002.

Williamsville Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bassett Manor, 245 Bassett Road, Amherst, to create St. Patrick's Day mini-wreaths. Party to follow.

Orchard Park Garden Club will meet at noon Thursday in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park. Following a business meeting, guest speaker Lyn Chimera will present a program on how to use native plants in the garden.
