SULLIVAN - Kathryn (Radwan)
68, of Passaic, NJ, died Monday, February 13, 2012. She was born to the late Congressman Edmund P. Radwan and Dorothy J. Radwan on February 28, 1943 in Buffalo, NY. Kathryn graduated from Holy Angels Academy and D'Youville College. After earning her Masters of Library Science at Pratt Institute, Kathryn valued and enjoyed her work as a cataloger at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) headquartered in New York City and as a technical researcher for NJ civil engineering firms Pandulo Quirk Associates and Clinton Bogart Associates. She concluded her professional career with Vale-Inco, a global leader in the metals mining and processing industry. Kathryn was an opera lover, folk dancer and loving wife and mother. A parishioner of Saint Clare Catholic Church, Clifton, NJ for 34 years, she served there as a lector and lay minister. Kathryn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry Sullivan, of Passaic, NJ, and her three children, Vincent Sullivan of Passaic, NJ, Carol Sullivan of Allentown, PA and Irene (William D. III) Schocke of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by her mother Dorothy Urbanski Radwan of Buffalo, NY and her two sisters, Margaret (Eugene) Mitchell of Wyomissing, PA and Marie (Louis) Haremski of Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kathryn Sullivan may be made to charities of choice. Her cremains will be buried at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Buffalo, NY in the spring.
