Phillips Lytle partner Holly A. Beecher was appointed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York board of directors for a three-year term. The Ronald McDonald House Charities is a community-supported organization that provides lodging and emotional support for families of children receiving medical treatment.

Digital Surveillance Solutions, a Buffalo-based physical security consulting and systems integration company, named Jesse Ladoue and Bryan Bonn account managers. Ladoue, an Iona College graduate, will focus on the development of new and existing business opportunities in the K-12 and higher-education markets. Bonn will focus on new business opportunities in government and law enforcement markets. A University at Buffalo graduate, he has been with the company since 2008.

Ballow, of the Ballow Law Firm of Clarence, an adjunct instructor at the University at Buffalo School of Law, was elected by his peers to become a member of the Fellows, an honorary organization of judges, attorneys, law faculty and legal scholars from throughout the United States who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.

Respiratory Services of Western New York, a medical equipment company based in Cheektowaga, achieved the Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation, based in Waterloo, Iowa. Respiratory Services of Western New York earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive review process.

M&T Bank donated 10 HP Model DC 5000 desktop computers and 10HP Model 1530 15" LCD monitors to Nativity Miguel Middle School of Buffalo. The computers will be the focal point of the new media center at the St. Monica Campus, which serves girls in fifth to eighth grade.
